Faltaat has been an outstanding source of success in Hong Kong and Westbury Stud's Gr 1 producer landed another winning double at Sha Tin last night. The John Size-trained pair of A Walk In The Park and Gallant Treasure were in fine touch to keep the Mr Prospector stallion to the fore. A Walk In The Park began his career with five straight placings before a deserved success earlier this month and he repeated the dose over 1400 metres in the skilled hands of champion jockey Douglas Whyte. The four-year-old was a $28,000 New Zealand Bloodstock purchase from Westbury Stud's Carnival Sale draft in 2007 and is out of the Crested Wave mare Awave, who is a half-sister to the dam of Gr 1 New Zealand 2000 Guineas winner The Pooka. Stable companion Gallant Treasure has been a genuine performer and the five-year-old posted his third victory when triumphant over 1200 metres for Australian rider William Pike. He is out of the winning Citidancer mare Lady Chanele and is a half-brother to multiple stakeswinner and Gr 1 performed Ombre Rose from the family of Westbury's Gr 2 Moonee Valley Cup winner The Sportsman. Faltaat also made his presence on the home front yesterday when his daughter Dhariat broke through for a fitting victory. She had finished runner-up in two of her three previous appearances and made no mistake at the Pukekura Raceway. Bred by Marton identity Jack Georgetti who has retained a racing interest in the five-year-old, Dhariat is out of his Gr 3 winner Bexley who hails from the Gr 1 family of Valley of Carome and Daisy.
