Joining Westbury Stud in 2009, Postponed is a high class sire in the making - a point evidenced by the fact that he produced two Group 1 winners, a Group 2 winner, and three Listed winners from just his first crop of 49 foals!
From his first crop Postponed produced to elite performers in Dorabella and Pasta Post. Dorabella took out the crown jewel for the 3YO fillies when landing the Group 1 NZ 1000 Guineas and added to her Group 1 haul when defeating Seachange in the Captain Cook Stakes at Trentham. Past Post won 8 of his first 10 starts including the Easter Handicap Gr.1 over 1600m and the City of Auckland Cup Gr.2 over 2400m.
A Group 2 winner in the USA and by The Preakness Stakes winner Summer Squall, Postponed hails from one of the great pedigrees in the thoroughbred world, descending from the multiple Group 2 winner Telingua (the dam of the almighty Storm Cat) and in turn a half sister to the Breeder's Cup Mile winner and high class sire Royal Academy.
